Thoughts appear as if out of nowhere. They are spontaneous arisings.
Think about it (ironically!)—what comes before a thought…
Formations we refer to as “thoughts” appear to be neutral in nature. They have no substance, matter or meaning.
Thought forms seem to appear in something we refer to as “the mind”, or, “my mind”—located somewhere between the ears and behind the eyes.
The nature of mind is an empty chasm: a clear, judgement free, limitless “container” of sorts.
This boundless, boundary-less space we call “mind”, appears not to be empty. It’s apparent contents are ideas; concepts; beliefs; narratives; all thought forms about ourselves and our relationship to every being and every-thing that surrounds us.
